Method Details

hasLastCommitted
boolean hasLastCommitted()Acknowledgement. When set, every record up to and including this offset has been committed. It is set on every response that has something to ack, including responses carrying an Error, so a client whose stream is torn down can always resume from the offset on the last response it saw. It is unset only when nothing has been committed yet on this stream. The field must be optional because offsets are 0-based: "offset 0 committed" has to stay distinguishable from "nothing committed", which matters when an error is returned on the very first ingestion message.
optional uint64 last_committed = 1;- Returns:
- Whether the lastCommitted field is set.
-
